Every people in the world lives in a place. For Palestinians, the place lives in them.” DR

Home      Poetry      George Bush Talks with God

Shamelessly he announced, his talk with god*

Someone give him a prod and wake him from his nod

Communication through hallucination

Leaving a nation with humiliation

Considering it was George that was not odd

For George is a political fraud

When I hear George talk, I wonder if he is sober

Or is it just his brain is lobber

George confuses leadership with a cowboy drover

Cattle they are who brought George to the helm

To tell us that god talks to him

Nevertheless, George is a good role model

He has proved, it’s a job any child can handle

Like riding a horse without a saddle

Poor George, he was accused of lying

Where he caused thousands of dying

But George is too dim to discern the truth

And daddy told him to blame the sleuth

He told us we must stay the course

If power doesn’t work, then use more force

They told us:

Fight with what you’ve got

Otherwise, patriot you are not

As their stocks rise, poor kids in the heat are rot

They told us:

Stay the course to the end

As more of ours and the Iraqi blood blend

Stay the course until we prevail

We will fight until the last Iraqi male

Mission accomplished we declare

Photo opportunity and fanfare

President Bush and Tony Blair

Dual duds and heads of air
